This MathCAD v6.0 application is intended to be used in conjunction with the web-booklet "Second Law Analysis of Gas Turbines". The Universal Gas Turbine Cycle allows for different inputs and can be used to simulate any sort of gas turbine, simple, heat exchanged, combined, compounded, closed, and open cycle. There are over 60 formulas in this application which adjust for a multitude of varying conditions such as pressure ratio, cooling bypass, and numerous pressure losses. Input data for four commercially available gas turbines and two proposed designs are included.
